Welcome to St. James the Apostle’s Homepage!

Whether you are just settling in to the McDonough area or have been a long time resident of Henry County we are delighted to have you on our website!

St. James was founded nearly 70 years ago as one of the missions served by the Redemptorist priests from Sacred Heart Parish, Griffin.  Slowly it grew, became its own parish, and was for many years at about 300 families.  We now have nearly 1,400 registered families and are continuing to grow.

With the grace of God and through the generosity of our parishioners, we have worked to improve our website.  We consider our site an extension of the mission of our parish family as we reach out, into the virtual world, to spread the Gospel.

In an effort to streamline what St. James has to offer and to ensure our site can be used as efficiently as possible, we have added the following items to make it convenient for YOU:

We hope you enjoy using our site; should you need anything, please feel free to contact us at any time.
